Goodbye 2012, hello 2013

Each year millions of people find themselves saying "new year, new me" they set their new years resolutions "promise" that this year they are going to accomplish them and forget about them a month later. And I will admit it, I am one of those people I always say I am going to do something and I forget about it less than half way through the year.

I am hoping this year is different because I have actually set some really good New Years resolutions for myself that I hope I do get to accomplish. I am an over achiever so I set up 13 of them!

1. Read 30 books

I have loved books ever since I was a little girl. I looked forward to the trips to the library when I was younger. I get lost in books, I get attached to all the characters. So this year I plan on reading more, I have set my goal at 30 (which may sound like a lot for most people) but knowing myself I might surpass it!
2. Get As or Bs in my classes
(As would be preferable)

This will be my last year of college (I will HOPEFULLY be graduating in December) so I am planning on finishing my senior year strong.

3. Say NO to fast food!

Not only is it bad for you but after a while it starts to get expensive. Instead of buying  a lot of fast food we (the boyfriend and I) can save the money and go to a nicer place instead.

4. Get fit!

This is not about losing weight and wanting to be skinny. This is about me going back to

running, being able to run a couple of miles without having a heart attack.

5. BLOG MORE!

I don't want to go another week without blogging. If I know that I am going to be busy  (like I was during the holidays) then I will schedule some posts ahead of time so it doesn't look so dead around here.

6. Be a better sponsor!

If I don't have time for blogging then I can honestly say that I probably do not have time to help my sponsors help grow their blog/shop. And I feel extremely bad because I know I can do waaay better than that.

And for that reason I have updated my sponsor page (prices are still the same) I have changed the packages, which means that you will get more benefits  for the same price as before that will help your blog/shop grow!

If you are interested in sponsoring my blog just click here.

7. Drink more water

I pretty much drink tea, (which is better than coke but obviously not as good as water) Water has a lot of benefits, not only does it help you lose weight, it also helps regulate your body temperature, reduces headaches and helps you have clear skin.

8. Get my second tattoo

I got my first tattoo on my 19th birthday. I thought I had revealed it to you guys but I can't seem to find it. So once I get my second one I shall reveal both. I have two different ideas and two different places for each one, I am still deciding which one I would like to go with first, I am hoping to get it on my birthday again so we shall see :)

9. Spend more time with my family

I am hoping to find a job in the Portland-Seattle area which means that I won't be able to see my family as often as I am used to. So I want to spend as much time possible with them as I can, before I only see them only a couple times  a year.

10. Learn how to sew

I love clothes, and probably spend more money on it than what I should. So I would love to learn how to sew and even knit so I can make my own clothes or buy cheap clothes and make them my own. I would love to be just like Little J from Gossip Girl, she wasn't rich but she did look fabulous in her own clothes.

11.Curse less

I have a pouttymouth and I am not proud of it. I plan to become a lady once again and remove bad words from my vocabulary.

12. Talk less, listen more

This pretty much applies anywhere, at school, at work and at home. I need to listen to what others have to say and let THEM get their point across before I make mine. This will help my communication skills by A LOT.

13. Wear my key necklace EVERY day

Like I have mentioned before I am OBSESSED with skeleton keys (old looking keys) and so my boyfriend bought me a key necklace for our 1 month anniversary, which he ended up giving me earlier because he just couldn't keep it a secret. It is so simple but I love it, it is beautiful and the meaning behind it just melts my heart. I think that by wearing it I can be reminded of what an amazing boyfriend I have and to not focus on the big things but enjoy the small things in life.
