This is my school schedule:
(on campus)
1. Astrology: Life in the universe
2. Marketing: Strategy and policy
(online)
3. Marketing: Retail Management
4. Marketing: Marketing Research
This year I spent less than $200 on my 4 books! Which if you are a college student, (or have been) then you know that books can be VERY expensive. I used to buy my books and sell them back to a bookstore or to a friend, (and while I still got some money back) buying new or used books can still be pricey. But all of that changed when a former coworker told me about how she just rented her books online, and that's when she introduced me to Chegg.
About Chegg
"Chegg, the student hub, is transforming the way millions of students learn by connecting them to the people and tools needed to succeed throughout their high school and college career. The company offers an array of required and non-required scholastic materials including millions of textbooks in any format, access to online homework help and textbook solutions, course organization and scheduling, as well as college and university matching tools and scholarship connections. "
-From their website
Chegg for Good
"From planting a few trees (over 5 million and counting), to supporting student philanthropists that are leading the next generation of social entrepreneurs -- we are constantly looking for ways to do good in the world around us."
My books arrived 2 days ago and I was surprised to find a couple of extra goodies inside my box.
Aside from my two Marketing books and my Astronomy book these are the other items....
I have been ordering from Chegg for a year and a half now and this is the first time that they have sent extra items.
Chegg teamed up with other companies to provide students the chance to win a Taylor Swift performance on the winning campus.
On the other side Chegg offers a '10% off your order' in the official online 'Taylor Store' store
Plus a 50% off coupon for Domino's Pizza. (This arrived at the perfect time because I have been dying to try their new Buffalo Chicken Pizza!)
Another coupon for wink
This coupon offers a FREE justWink card with the purchase of 1 American Greetings card greater than $1. I have never heard of this company so of course I am going to check it out.
Now I am extremely excited for this surprise! Both my boyfriend and I ordered our books from Chegg and we noticed that we got the same coupons but not the same product. Chegg sent out different goodies for the guys and gals. The guys' box came in with a Redbull (yeah, they shipped a redbull) and the gals received "I'm Press" nails.
I am excited for this one because well for starters I have never tried them and because I LOVE the color! :)
I know the goodies aren't much but HEY! As a college student I appreciate ALL the coupons and freebies I can get my hands on! :)
And of course I will do a post on the "I'm Press" nails. So stay tuned for that one.
Good luck with your classes.....i loved being in college...would go back if i good!! Best times ever.
