Dare to be inspired!

It is true when they say that inspiration comes in many forms, for many inspiration comes from life experiences, from songs, from movies, from books, pictures, etc. As to me, inspiration came to me in the form of a painting we (My boyfriend and I) have in our living room.
This painting was actually given to me by my uncle, he knew I was looking for a cool painting to hang in my former room at my parents house and the moment I saw it I fell in love with it. It's a 3 piece painting, he made the board/base and another aunt painted the zebra. I think they both did an AMAZING job!
Anyways... I gave my nails a rest for a couple of days, I was going to go a week nail polish free but I couldn't do it! I mean every time I looked at my nails they just looked so naked and boring! So this painting gave me an idea.

First I painted my nails black by using a black KleanColor nailpolish....
I then used a white nail polish from Eve's , to create patterns on my nails. That's one of the nail polishes I bought for less than $1! (to read my shopping experience click here) And....
Ta-da! This is the end result :) I did different patterns on my nails because each nail represents a "zebra" and each zebra is unique and has different patterns.

So what do you guys think? Where does your inspiration to do your nails comes from?
 Comments are always welcome!
